The Hults Murphy Bed with Side Cabinets is a good choice for those who need additional storage space in their room. The wall bed folds up when not in use, so it doesn’t take up much space during the day. While at night you can pull down the bed and have a comfortable place for your guests to sleep.
There are two side cabinets giving you plenty of space to store items inside. Each one includes: a drawer, cabinet, and multiple shelves.
The full-size wall bed is the same height as the side cabinets. However, the queen size wall bed is about 4″ taller than the side cabinets. The side shelves are independent of the wall bed and can be placed where ever you choose in the room.

I love it! The Hults Murphy bed looks stylish and is incredibly compact when upright. A couple of recommendations, I would allow a full 2day weekend with someone else’s help to install it. Opt for an 8” mattress over a 10” mattress so that you can fold in your bedding. The assembly was only slightly confusing when mounting to the wall otherwise the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.

Gorgeous! My guests love it. It took a whole weekend to put together but it was worth it. The only negative point is that drawers and door don’t align perfectly but it’s a minor problem. The price is unbeatable.

We were two people assembling the Hults Murphy bed, which took us close to 6 hours and numerous “What the heck!?” moments. Several stages are not at all self-explanatory. I have a 9-inch-thick mattress, and I have to lift the mattress from above the Murphy bed in order for it to close (the ad says 10 inches), so I would recommend that you: 1- Get professionals to install it as it’s easy to mess up a step or damage the murphy as the quality matches the price (not terrible but not a $5,000 murphy bed and it shows) and 2- Use an 8-inch mattress if you want it to fit properly.

The material for the actual bed seems sturdy however, the covering part (which should make everything look pretty) seems pretty flimsy and is easily scratched. My biggest complaint is the wall anchors that they sent. They are metal, and just plain ugly – much of the assembly screwsboltsetc that they sent are black and aren’t even visible. It would be great if they could have sent some sort of covers for those, or at least black ones.

Arrived pretty banged up and required a bit of ingenuity to make right. I think it’ll hold? Approx. time to assemble was 3-4 hours and there is lots of extra hardware (screws, etc.).
