It took me approximately five hours to assemble and install. I do not comprehend the other reviews stating that it took two men five days, etc. Superior quality. It seems as though it will last several years. The most challenging aspect was altering the two front panels. Before permanently screws in, adjust by hanging and repositioning. For a more completed appearance on the side, paint all the black screws white.

I love the Kadeja bed. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I wish they would inform you beforehand that it must stand level against the wall and that if you have floor molding, you will need to cut a space for it to stand flat.

I really like this bed, but putting it together was a bit of a nightmare due to the numerous components and poor instructions. Nevertheless, we managed to do it, and it looks amazing. I would suggest making sure to acquire the length when choosing the mattress because the mattress we purchased based on the recommendation appears a little short and the bar does not fit over the mattress. If you have a free weekend, I highly advise purchasing the Kadeja bed – very worthwhile. Pros: Very good value. Cons: It’s challenging to put together.

We looked everywhere for a murphy bed, but they were all very expensive. The Kadeja bed looked to have favorable ratings and was even more affordable than the murphy bed hacks from IKEA. With the exception of the two weeks a year when guests actually sleep in the guest bed, it offers the functionality we require for us to be able to use our guest room. If your guest room is not on the ground floor of your home, you will need to account for the fact that the boxes are incredibly heavy. My husband had to open the boxes and bring everything upstairs in one morning. He then needed a second full day to put things together. It took a third day to completely remove the stickers off the wood pieces in order to make it “presentable.” Though a large undertaking, it is generally superior to a conventional bed. Cons: In my perspective, any piece of furniture that we spend this much money on shouldn’t be a puzzle to put together.

This review would have received five stars if the product had not been damaged. The right front upper corner was chipped, and the left lower corner was also chipped and visible. Not possible when the Handy representative arrives the next day to assemble it and each crate weighs 100 pounds. First, propose to buyers that they pay the additional shipping fee for the boxes to be placed in the desired room. We were incapable of moving these ourselves. Pay the additional cost to have Wayfair or Handy assemble the item. The man spent five hours assembling the Kadeja Murphy bed and did an excellent job. Third, if your mattress is thicker than 10 inches, you won’t be able to fold it and other items such as sheets and duvet into the container. We purchased a Tulo Firm Queen mattress and it suits perfectly! Hopefully, Wayfair will discount the product or send a technician to repair the chips. Once the bed has been assembled, it is incredibly robust and attractive. Unless it’s broken, you won’t be disappointed.
